Shinyori AU

"THAT'S IT? NO GOODNIGHT? NO NOTHING?" She exclaimed running up to him and grabbing his hand, forcing him to turn around.

Shocked, he turned to look at the short girl, "We didn't do that before." He replied. True, he wanted to wish her a good night and maybe even a good night kiss, but he didn't want to push her to do something that she felt uncomfortable with.

"Shut up! Would it at least kill you to say 'goodnight'?" She pouted. He at least said goodnight, AT LEAST. And that was before they were....whatever the hell they are.

She sighed lightly and a small cloud was formed as her breath hit the cold night air, to be honest the girl lost feeling in her nose and she wanted to curl up into a ball in her bed. But part of her didn't really wanna leave Shinji.

Shinji couldn't help but smile at the short girl's expression. She was pouting, or at least as close as she get's to pouting. He chuckled lightly and kissed her lips softly, his lips lingering longer than he had originally planned.

Her eyes widened in shock at the kiss, but was happy at the lingering touch. When he pulled away, a part of her screamed to pull him back So, she grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him back to her.

"No." She whispered before crushing her lips against his.

Getting tugged back into another kiss, Shinji groaned and pulled her flush up against him. His lips hungrily kissing her, he slowly moved her until her back hit the bark of a tree. His tongue demanding entrance into her mouth.

Hiyori was literally shocked into silence as she was pushed up against the tree. This was.... different. And she liked it. She tangled her hands into Shinji's hair and continued to kiss him hungrily, giving him access.

The tall blonde groaned as his tongue entered her mouth and he got to taste her. His hands tightened around her waist, keeping her from moving away from him. Her hands were deeply weaved into his head and he couldn't help but lean closer to her. A hand traveled down her thigh and hooked at the curve of her knee, picking it up and hooking it around his waist.

His mouth traveled a bit until he found the sweet spot behind her neck, kissing it thoroughly.

Hiyori let out a small moan as his lips wondered to her weak spot on her neck. She tightened her grip on his hair before bringing her lips to his neck, leaving open-mouthed kissed all down his jaw bone. She let her teeth graze his earlobe before her lips settled right under his ear. Her leg tightened around his waist, they were as close together as they both could manage.

Feeling her kisses on his neck made him shiver, though it was most definitely not a bad thing. He bit down gently on her neck, his other hand hooking her remaining leg around his waist, bringing her to his level. Keeping his hands on her thighs and keeping her from falling, he trailed kisses back up her neck, nibbling on her ear lobe, and back to her mouth.

She let out a gasp against his neck as he carefully bit down on her neck. She happily allowed him to bring her other leg around his waist, she tightened her legs around his waist and welcomed his mouth back to hers, he tasted the same as he did earlier, like heaven. Hiyori couldn't name it for the life of her, but then again her brain wasn't working all that well at the moment.

She broke the kiss momentarily. Taking a few uneven breaths.

"Shinji. One. I hate you. Two. You're going to get shot by my dad if he looks out the window."

"Fuck." He muttered against her lips, resting his forehead against hers. He knew she was right, but he couldn't get himself to care. He kept his eyes tightly shut as he tried to control his breathing once more, collecting himself.

After a couple of completely failed attempts, he kissed her hotly once more before pulling away, putting more space between their faces.

Hiyori fought the biggest mental debate of her life, she knew that she needed to get inside, it was getting late past HER curfew and that was saying something. She held the kiss with Shinji for as long as she could before breaking apart.

"Tell me about it. You should go." She muttered. She really didn't want to leave him, but hey, it wasn't like she was never going too see him again. She easily untangled herself from Shinji before sliding to the ground. She looked up at him, already missing being face-to-face with the man.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" She shrugged.

Their last kiss was lingering, but finally, she pulled away from him and put some space between, giving him the opportunity to think right.

"Yeah," He breathed, leaning up against the tree he just had her on. He took a couple of deep breths and grined down at Hiyori.

"Good night" he said, tracing her jaw with his index finger, "and sweet dreams."

She flashed Shinji a rare smile before quickly wrapping her arms around his torso and backing away.

".... you too. 'Night." She turned around and walked quickly into her house. Totally ignoring her parents, she bolted to her room and stuck her head out the window at least make sure Shinji get down the block without getting jumped.

Shocked by her random hug, he barely got time to reciprocate before she pulled away and ran into her house. Once he saw her enter, he turned and walked home, knowing that he would either get scolded for being late or completely ignored. He was hoping for the latter but expecting the former.

A particularly cold gust of wind suddenly passed by him and he shivered, making him remember that he gave Hiyori his jacket. He muttered curses at the wind, trudging his way home.

Once Hiyori was sure that he was out of sight she collapsed onto her bed. She folded her arms behind her head and stared at the ceiling. Her whole day was on replay, everything seemed so surreal and it didn't hit her til now. She grinned at nothing in the dark. It was then that she realized that she was exhausted. Yawning, she pulled her jacket off... she froze. She remembered her forgotten jacket at school and how Shinji had loaned her the jacket.

"Damn it." She muttered, at this point, he was long gone. She set it on her chair, promising herself that she wouldn't forget it in the morning and quickly crawled under the covers and fell asleep.

Walking in his house through his front door, he noticed that the lights were off and his parents room was dark. Shinji let a breath of relief out of his lungs as he quickly dashed to his room and closed his door, taking off his shirt and pants, throwing on his pajama pants and collapsing on his bed.

Staring at his ceiling, the blond thought of all the events that happened in one day. The girl he'd been practically in love with admitted to having some feelings for him, he kissed said girl and admitted to having feelings as well, and finally, made-out with her in front of her own house where her family could have seen them (a.k.a. killed him).

"Good day," He muttered to himself as he got under his covers and turned on to his side, relaxing. He would see her again tomorrow.

The next morning, Hiyori's alarm clock beeped annoyingly. Growling, Hiyori turned over, hoping to crush the damn thing. Instead, she just turned it off and swung her legs over her bed. She yawned and stretched her arms out. Memories of the night before slowly re-entered her thoughts.

A smile smile graced her lips at the memories, but at the realization of her actions she quickly stopped and trudged to the shower. After a quick shower she dressed in her usual school uniform, put her hair up in their trademark pigtails, but she threw on Shinji's jacket, which she was still swimming in. She grabbed her bag and quickly left the house before her parents woke up.

The walk to school was a lot quicker then it was last night, which was to be expected. She was nice and warm, Shinji's jacket smelled comfortingly of him. Like he was with her right this second. She made it to school right as the first bell rang. She yawned again and casually made her way to her first class. Getting some strange looks from people she knew, she just shot them a glare and they shut up.

She wondered into her 1st class, English. "Tch." She grumbled, English was her least favorite subject.

As usual, the alarm woke the blond up at butt-crack in the morning, telling him that he needed to get the fuck up. Groaning, Shinji completed his morning routine and got out of the house, not wanting to risk a talk with his mother.

At his regular pace, the tall blond arrived in class just as the bell rang, saving himself from a talk with the teacher. Something that he really didn't want. He plopped down on his seat and put his head down, planing on catching up on the sleep that school managed to take from him.

As usual, 1st period went by far too slow, as most of her mornings did. She spent a good deal of the class sleeping and listening to her music. Her teacher had long given up on the girl and she didn't really mind.

Once the end of class came around, Hiyori began getting restless. She continued to fidget in her chair and keep her eyes glued on the clock.

The second the bell rang, she grabbed her bag and bolted out of the class before the majority of people could even begin packing.

"Finally." She muttered, once she got into the hallway.

The loud bell signaling the end of first period rang loudly, waking the sleeping blond up. He groaned and stood up, grabbing all of his things so that he could leave.The teacher gave him a disapproving look as he walked past the short male, but he really didn't care.

Stepping into the hallway, he sighed and walked towards his next class.

Hiyori's heart fluttered ever so-slightly when she saw the familiar back of Shinji's head as she came into the hallway. She scowled inwardly at herself. Really? She was NOT going to let herself get soft JUST because Shinji liked her back. More then just like, she figured. But emotions were a tricky thing for Hiyori. Anger was always the easiest and most convenient to portray. Because she usually always had something to be mad about.

She continued to walk, speeding up slightly to catch up with the blond. As she approached him she poked his right side and quickly side-stepped to the left.

The hairs at the back of Shinji's neck rose ever so slightly, alerting him of Hiyori's presence. He seemed to just know when she was around. His heart did a weird flutter thing, and the next thing he knew, his side was jabbed rather violently. He smirked slightly, before turning to the side 'looking' for the person who did it. He would play along, though he did want to find her.

She rolled her eyes, aware that he was simply playing along. He was the worst actor imaginable. She nonchalantly continued to walk next to Shinji, waiting for him to get the idea and turn around.
