Narrowing his eyes, Grimmjow took a deep breath through his nose and exhaled through his mouth. The blue haired man scowled, but made an attempt to calm down.

He tried to ignore the anger bubbling up in him and glared at the wall, hoping it would take some damage from his anger.

Ulquiorra slowly drew Grimmjow's hand away from the wall, observing the small dent and droplets of blood on Grimmjow's knuckles. He sighed. "Come here. Sit down."

Reluctantly, Grimmjow sat down and watched Ulquiorra, wondering what he was about to do.

Ulquiorra took Grimmjow's hand and wiped the blood away with his sleeve. "You shouldn't get so angry that you hurt yourself accidentally," he murmured, inspecting his bruised knuckles.

Grimmjow shrugged, " 's nothin'." He said as he watched Ulquiorra inspect his knuckles. They bled often, but he never really did anything about it. There was no one who really cared about it so why should he have bothered?

Ulquiorra shook his head. "Do you have bandages?" he asked, looking up at Grimmjow. "If you're going to be punching many more things in the future, we may as well ensure they won't get infected."

"It's fine." He replied gruffly, taking his fist from the pale fingers and he examined the damage. Staring at it, he decided that he was in fact, perfectly fine. He stood quickly and walked over to his dresser, trying to find shirt he could wear.

Ulquiorra sighed. "...My parents are never pleased with my academic and extracurricular achievements," he confessed, keeping his gaze firmly turned away from Grimmjow. "When I don't perform well, they don't react well."

Grimmjow stopped what he was doing and turned to look at Ulquiorra.

"Are you fucking me?" He asked, completely surprised by what the man was saying. He had practically the best grades in the school, and his parents weren't happy about it?

"...No..." Ulquiorra said slowly. "They frequently raise their voices, but have never raised their hands to me. So I suppose I should be grateful. But they've prohibited me from seeing anyone, thinking it will distract me from my school work, which they already think is terrible."

"They better not," He growled, anger beginning to bubble up again. The thought of anyone beating Ulquiorra pissed him off beyond belief. He didn't know where the feelings come from, but he sure as hell wasn't going to ignore them.

"...Why do you care?" Ulquiorra asked quietly. "You never seemed to before."

"I..." Grimmjow began, tryign to explain himself, "I just do." A scowl on his face he glared at the ground.

Ulquiorra reached out and took Grimmjow's hand, looking up at him from where he sat on the bed.

Surprised by the sudden action, Grimmjow's gaze traveled from the ground to the pale man in front of him, silently wondering what was going though his mind.

Ulquiorra continued to gaze up at him. "You always look at me like that. As if you don't understand anything about me."

Ulquiorra looked down at Grimmjow's hand, inspecting his rough fingers, one by one. His fingers weren't exactly smooth either; their tips were calloused from writing and typing so often.

"...I may be able to help you with that."

Grimmjow raised a blue eyebrow and sat next to Ulquiorra, completely forgetting his previous task of getting a shirt.

Ulquiorra brought his legs up from the floor, resting them horizontally across Grimmjow's and looking at him earnestly. "What would you like to know?"

Grimmjow thought about the question hard. There was so much about Ulquiorra that confused him, yet here he was, ready to clarify everything.

"Uh....Why do ya' always look so emotionless?" He asked, thinking about all the times he seemed to hold all of his emotions back.

"To show emotions is to give others power over you," Ulquiorra said simply. "My father taught me this at a very young age."

"....But ya' gotta be happy an' sad an' shit too." He countered, confused as to why the hell someone would say something like that. He could never bottle up his emotions. If he was pissed, he looked pissed, if he was happy, he sure as hell was going to look happy.

"If others know what causes you to be unhappy, they can use that information to make you unhappy more often," Ulquiorra said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "And if they know what pleases you, they can use that against you as well." He remembered how much he fought back his emotions while he and Grimmjow were having sex; the blue-haired man now knew everything that he liked, everything that could render him speechless with pleasure. And the thought scared him.

"But I wanna know what makes ya' happy," He countered without thinking. His eyes widened as he realized what he just said, and looked at the floor. He really should learn to shut up sometimes. He fought loosing battle with a blush and he stood, going back to his dresser, leaving the smaller man to look at his back rather than his embarrassed face.
